LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sends short laser pulses into the atmosphere which interact with atmospheric particles, generating reflection and scattering light, which are then collected by telescopes for analysis to obtain atmospheric parameters. LIDAR is an active remote sensing tool which embraces various types such as aerosol LiDAR, ozone LiDAR, and Raman LiDAR, depending on the detection needs. Common wavelengths used are 266 nm and 355 nm in the UV band, 532 nm in the visible band, and 1,064 nm in the near-infrared band.
Provide standardized PDF datasheets for each LiDAR laser model including: central wavelength, pulse energy and peak power, repetition rate, pulse width (FWHM), beam quality (M²), divergence, energy/wavelength stability, trigger/sync interfaces (TTL, Ethernet, RS-232 etc.), cooling method, dimensions & weight, operating temperature range, MTBF, maintenance intervals, and typical system wiring diagrams and installation notes.
The Nimma-L series lasers from Beamtech Optronics Co., Ltd. are specifically designed for high-energy meteorological LIDAR applications, including ozone LIDAR and Raman LIDAR. This series features an new automatic phase-adjustment (NAPA)frequency doubling module which optimizes frequency doubling efficiency automatically to enhance the convenience of remote operation and system integration.
Each laser undergoes comprehensive factory testing: optical power/energy checks, pulse waveform and width measurements, temperature cycling (-20°C to +60°C), life testing, vibration and shock tests, and environmental aging. Customers can request factory test reports (AT/QA reports). We provide MTBF figures and recommended maintenance schedules to ensure long-term field reliability.
We support common certifications and testing documentation (e.g., CE, RoHS, FCC or market-specific requirements) and can provide IEC 60825-1 laser safety classification statements and risk assessment reports. For field/vehicle/aerial applications we offer pre-test support and documentation preparation for EMC, vibration and environmental certification processes.
