LIF

LIF

One of the techniques with higher sensitivity for detecting material properties

Detailed Consultation

Description

Laser-Induced Fluorescence (LIF) is a measurement method that uses a laser to excite particles to a high-energy quantum state, then detects the fluorescence photons emitted by the particles during their transition. This technique qualitatively or quantitatively determines the properties of the test substance through its fluorescence characteristics.

LIF detection technology can be applied in various fields. In combustion research, LIF can clearly reveal the distribution of OH radicals within flames, enabling precise flow field visualization.

Solution

The Dawa series, Lapa series, and Nimma series from Beamtech Optronics Co., Ltd. can be used for laser-induced fluorescence. The Dawa and Nimma series are high-energy lamp-pumped pulsed lasers, while the Lapa series is a DPSS laser. These three lasers can output single pulse energies ranging from 50 mJ to 1 J at 532 nm, meeting various fluorescence detection needs. UV frequency doubling is optional. Additionally, the Dawa and Nimma series lasers are also ideal light sources for pumping dye lasers.
